LEADERSHIP CAREER PATHWAY
The programmes within the Roads Academy portfolio create a full leadership career pathway for the sector and develop leadership capabilities at all levels.
The programmes equip the leaders of the future with the skills to adapt to new innovations and lead an ever-changing workforce.

The Step up to Leadership programme is set to develop the leadership skills of the sectors aspiring and first line managers with a view of them being the leaders of the future. This programme allows member organisations to utilise the investment they have already made through their apprenticeship levy to attract, develop and retain new and existing talent.
The programme is accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) allowing the individual the opportunity to obtain a Level 5 Diploma as well as Chartered Manager status.
Programme Cost: £7,000
Programme Duration: 2 Years

Our recruitment packs contain key information about the programme you are interested in applying for, including; the syllabus and what to expect from the programme, key dates and expectations for you as a learner and your line-manager.
If you are thinking of applying for the Roads Academy but have yet to discuss your application with your line-manager, it may be useful to share this information with them. Although written authorisation is not required, it is expected that all prospective applicants discuss their interest in the Roads Academy with their line-manager first.
